Weekend Things + Link Love

My brain is in total spring break mode starting now. We have such a fun packed weekend and week ahead of us.  One of my best friends from Chicago is in town visiting, and Nick and I are going to see Garth Brooks in concert tonight!  I am resisting the urge to go buy some cowboy boots, always wanted an excuse...

And then next week we are headed to Mexico for a little family vacation! I literally cannot wait. Nick and I have been planning this since last fall, and it couldn't come at a more perfect time.  We both are feeling totally burnt out between work and parenting, and really need a moment just to rest and be together.  No agenda, nothing planned, we are totally just going to do whatever - eat, sleep, hang on the beach, walk around town, have a few margaritas.  Definitely won't be like the last time we visited Playa del Carmen (no Señor Frogs ha!) but hopefully Reese will love the beach and we will all have a blast together.

And these came this week! I am in love with my prints from Artifact Uprising.

artifact uprising - this little joy

I ordered the square print set.  I love how they turned out.  The quality is amazing, and printed on really thick stock with a matte finish. I am pinning some to my inspiration board in my office and scattering others upstairs. I feel like I will be more motivated now to print pictures out after seeing how great they turned out, and the process was super easy.

Now for the link love:

To eat: Crockpot Quinoa Chicken Primavera - I love a good crockpot meal and this one is full of yummy spring veggies.

To drink: A Pineapple, Coconut, Lime, & Mint Mocktail - this sounds majorly refreshing and indulgent without the alcohol.

To make: Bleach spotted fabric - A Beautiful Mess makes this look so cool.  I would love to make some fun outdoor throw pillows for our deck with this fabric.

To beautify: Ways to Use Green Tea in Your Beauty Routine - a round-up of some cool ways to use green tea (love that whipped green tea coconut oil moisturizer).

Have a happy weekend and enjoy the first few days of spring!
